Surrender Party (poem)

Balloons of expectation

popped by exaltation

Festival procession to the altar Gods prized possession

His present the presence

skin unwrapped torn in essence

Psalms praising the prince on colt

The psalms proclaiming what the pharisees won’t

The rocks cry out if the people don’t

Cloaks pressing ground a runway to heavens party

We were given the whole body not gifted partly

Whole heavenly body beaten and buried beneath boulders

Whole body raised witnessed by heavens mighty soldiers

The very hand of God the father raised Jesus the son

The spirit poured out fresh the party has just begun

Verses that match this poem psalm 118:26-27, Luke 19:28-40, Zechariah 9:9 .
